MISSION OBJECTIVES:
- To provide access and funding for youths to achieve Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and any recognized professional certification through GLX university partners in Australia, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
- To support the launch of multiple Sonic Foundry GLX Hubs facilities in emerging economies, beginning in Nigeria, which will provide GLX participants with a positive study environment, access to technology, academic guidance, counseling and mental well-being services, career planning and support, and a variety of academic and career development support resources. This Mission lays a strong emphasis on retention and employability and to incorporate job offers abroad for best graduating students.
- To support out of school children (high school graduates) towards attaining their first Degree with emphasis on Girl Child Education.The girl child, being the most disadvantaged when it comes to education, is forced into early marriage, or lured into teen prostitution as a direct result of the inability to advance their education, post high school. The Mission will navigate a larger percentage of its funding to educate the girl child through GLX hubs, to avail them the opportunity for a better future. This Mission will be implemented through the existing structure between UNESCO REF and the Nigerian Police Force Education unit.
MISSION END-GAME: To Complement relevant stakeholders’ efforts on SDGs towards further actualization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goals 4, 8 and 9, through a global synergy within The United Nations Goal 17 Guidelines.
